The Harper College Steel Band has been invited to perform at this year's Midwest Clinic which will be held at the Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue from December 13 - 17 2005. The Midwest Clinic is the most prestigious conference devoted to band and orchestra music and music education. Orchestras, concert bands, jazz ensembles, and other small ensembles are chosen by the Midwest Board of Directors from tapes submitted each spring by groups from around the country. It is a great honor that the Harper College Steel Band has been given the opportunity to contribute to this important conference. Harper College Steel Band Spring 2005 Concert

The Harper College Steel Bands will present their Spring concert on Tuesday, May 10th, at 7:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center Theater at Harper College. The concert will feature Harper's two steel bands performing new arrangements by several band members. Also performing will be the new Harper Percussion Ensemble. Paul G. Harper College Steel Band to perform at Frontier Days

Once again the Harper College Steel Band has been invited to perform this summer at Arlington Heights' Frontier Days festival. Our performance is free and will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1st. We'll be on the small stage in Recreation Park.
